About this business for sale

Homebased Manufacturing - Magicseal Flyscreens and Double Glazing

The owner of this successful little business is retiring and offers a younger person the opportunity to step in and carry on.

The business is a licensee of the nationwide & international, "Magicseal" business that has been operating in NZ for many years. This is the Tauranga area licence.

See the website www.magicseal.com

Manufacturing magnetic window flyscreens and secondary double glazing for thermal and acoustic insulation; however the window screens form the bulk of the business.

Any new operator can be fully trained by the retiring owner so all you need is good practical skills and a willingness to learn.

The manufacturing process takes place in the owners garage and is a simple enough process requiring careful measurement and then formatting the screens to the desired sizes.

Currently the owner works 3 to 4 days per week to achieve a cash surplus of approximately $60,000 per year.

Ideal business for someone heading towards retirement, but not ready for it yet, with good hands on skills.

This is a rewarding and interesting business with little or no overheads.
