For more than 25 years Elaine Ford has held Senior Executive positions within the Information Technology and Business Consulting industries both in Europe and New Zealand.

Prior to exiting the corporate sector, Elaine was the CEO for a large privately owned technology company with more than 500 people operating nationally through branch and franchised offices. Turnover was in excess of $120 M.

Elaine has significant experience of corporate merger and acquisitions from the “coal face” her expertise being in business turnaround and change management. Elaine lead the formation of Onesource from the combined operations of U-Bix Document Solutions and Cogent Communications over a period of 2 years whilst maintaining targeted growth. The creation of a new brand and culture played a big part in this. (New Zealand Business October 2003 ).

Business turnaround and rapid growth has often resulted in the targeting, negotiating and subsequent merging of acquired businesses.

She has a passion for “Values” in business and is a keen champion of the organization that she leads acquiring Values Based Accreditation. The work done at Onesource is used as a reference in Values at Work by Michael Henderson, published by Harper Collins.

Elaine’s career path through the IT industry has included Senior Executive positions at IBM, Unisys, Oracle and Gen-I and as a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

She has been successfully helping clients sell their business for over 5 years and is the owner of Business Broking North Shore and other SME businesses.

Elaine’s experience and proven ability in business both large and small means that she can provide valuable advice on exit strategies and positioning your business for sale. She also brings an impressive network of potential investors both here and overseas.
