Tony has broad experience in Acquisitions & Divestments and Sales & Marketing.

After heading NCR’s Asia Pacific operations in the 90’s, he became CEO of AT&T NZ, where he was responsible for merging Information Technology company NCR into AT&T’s telecommunications business. Then, following a period assisting Deloitte Consulting clients through Y2K transition, Tony was appointed Group CEO of Advantage Group in 2001. His role was to lead the company’s recovery from major losses following the bursting of the dot com bubble. This turnaround assignment including restructuring, divestment of under-performing assets and re-capitalization of the group. The rebranded Provenco Group implemented a new business plan, made strategic acquisitions and recovered to a period of sustained profitable growth.

More recently he was Director of Ernst & Young’s Business Advisory Services, providing business and information technology advice to corporate and SME clients.

Tony has improved the financial performance of many businesses over the past 30 years both as hands-on manager (including CEO roles with multi-national and NZ public companies) and as advisor to Big 4 consulting clients. These companies have experienced increased profits through a combination of improved processes, cost competitiveness and revenue growth. By assisting them to build solid foundations and create sustainable competitive advantage, Tony has released significant value for shareholders and business owners.
