Frank has wide business experience at Chief Executive level in many companies, covering many industries: banking & finance; investment services; forestry; NZ manufacturing & exporting; merchant banking; and e-technology; 5 – 100 staff. He has been a director and/or shareholder in six of the businesses, including three profitable start-ups. Frank has also headed up NZ divisions in Westpac (specialist financing division) and Macquarie NZ (investment services arm) and InvestmentLink (owned by 10 Banks and Fund Managers).
With over 20 years financing hundreds of SMEs, Frank has gained wide operational experience and strong financial and analytical capabilities
In more recent years, Frank has been an independent consultant to companies and professionals on maximising business value, succession & exit strategies, business recovery, sales & marketing, restructuring, equity & debt, investment, acquisitions & divestments, and MBOs.
Frank now takes pleasure from combining his years as a business consultant to help owners/buyers successfully formulate and implement strategies for business acquisitions, divestments, and mergers, through LINK. Frank also provides related consultancy services through Berkshire Group Ltd & subsidiary Philadelphia Consulting Group NZ Ltd.
Frank works successfully with many professionals, and advisers, to help them deliver added-value outcomes for their clients. In this regard, Frank presents many seminars on business exit or acquisition strategies and business valuation to accountants (over 250 in recent years), lawyers, coaches, and their existing and prospective business owners.
