My name is Belinda; I am a member of the Link Business Broking Team. I will be specialising in marketing and selling Retirement Homes and Private Hospitals.
I will tell you a little about my background.
I’m 31 years old and I grew up in Kumeu, north of Auckland on a lifestyle block with my parents. Animals were a huge part of my life, primarily horses. I competed in dressage; show jumping and showing for 27 years only slowing down to spend time with my husband Matthew and his two children who live with us at our property in Coatesville. During 1994 -1997 I was ballroom dancing competitively and represented New Zealand at The Australasian Championships in Sydney.
My career choice at the age of 20 was to become a Helicopter Pilot so off I went to Massey University based at Ardmore Airfield and completed over approx 4 years my Fixed Wing and Helicopter Pilots licenses. During this time my mother was running two Retirement Homes one of which I became Manager of for her. Running the Rest home was a life changing experience for me and I ended up owning my own Rest home and living in as owner operator for year or two. I kept my flying up over this time and still do now but only for enjoyment as my life moved in a different direction when I met and married my husband.
We now live on 22 acres in Coatesville and I have my horses – all 10 of them there, I still enjoy riding in the forest that we have on our doorstep and taking a ride at Muriwai beach.
